Loudoun Senior Emily came to us for her Loudoun Valley High School Senior Pictures. Emily is senior at Loudoun Valley High School, and had a portrait park session and a yearbook pictures session as she wanted more options than the school photographer gave her for her yearbook drape pictures. We had a beautiful day, and here are just a few of the day’s favorites so far!
I loved having the chance to work with Emily, as I had the chance to meet her quite a few times over the years when I worked with her older brother and sister, and for family photos as well. I look forward to seeing her again in the spring for her Parting Shot session!
what is a parting shot?
Senior who opt to have their senior portrait sessions done in the summer before senior year, or the fall of senior year often still want images with their cap and gown, and/or their new college spirit wear. I started the “Parting Shot” sessions many years ago to bring my summer and fall seniors back to get the “last few” images to tell their entire senior year story.
I even stock generic caps and gowns (and the green for Loudoun Valley High School) and keep the current tassel charms in stock too for seniors who want to get great images for graduation cards, but can’t wait for their own cap and gown to come from the school.
