While so many things are different right now, I’m working hard to focus on the things that are still familiar. Because I really try to be a “glass half full” girl, and not one that focuses on the negative. My happy place gives me hope.
So as I sit in my happy place this week I’m looking around at the things that had to change because of Covid-19 and seeing so many positive things too. People are respecting other’s space better, and in paying more attention to respecting global rules, they are more apt to be aware and even more polite. Which is a good thing.
Just a simple walk down Main Street USA shows me at least that things aren’t so bad. And we have new hope for a return of some kind of “normal”. Whatever normal looks like in 2021. My happy place gives me a little insight into normality returning.
What are you choosing to think about today? The positive, or the worse case scenarios? Do you have a happy place? Have you found a way to visit it – even virtually so you can replenish the hope inside of you?
If you are following along, check out my other blog also – because I’m posting in both these days. Be sure to read the Seniors Blog at www.pattyschuchmanseniors.com – click on blog at the top and see what Tomorrow might mean to me.
